WELCOME
"Prayer is an essential duty for every Christian; but for the professed me@mbers of the Secular Order of JMJ, it is a way of life. Prayer is our special, personal response to our promise to follow Him (Jesus Christ), His teachings, and His example...a special commitment to growth in faith and hope to bring the commandment of love to perfection."
A personal and hidden prayer life is a necessity. Jesus found it so. Prayer is meeting with God in faith. On our life journey, the Blessed Virgin, Our Sorrowful Mother, is our sure safe guide and support of the Order. In common prayer our primary focus is to pray for God's mercy, and so we make acts of and prayers for reparation and atonement to the Triune God for the sins of the world. Liturgical prayer takes priority, with Holy Mass as prime..The Divine Office is recommended...The Dolor Rosary (Seven Sorrows), the Litany of Captives. We foster EUCHARISTIC ADORATION, and reparation, Holy Hours, daily prayer for Order members and for the souls in Purgatory. Development of a prayer life is nourished by retreats and days of recollection.
The primary focus of the Order is Eucharistic Adoration and Reparation. To this end, we make and promote Holy Hours:
